  • Merry Christmas to You!

May you be blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ who died and resurrected so that we may live forever.

  • We're back!

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your well wishes! We had a great time in Taiwan for the past week. Thank God that the weather was good while we were there. Will blog more about our trip later. Now to start unpacking and do laundry...

  • We're going to Taiwan!

Yup, we're leaving for Taiwan on Saturday, 15th Dec, for a week long holiday. We'll be back on 22nd Dec. The weather in Taipei, where we'll be visiting, is now rainy/cloudy. If the weather continues to be so while we're there, guess we'll just hang out at the shopping centres and indoor tourist attractions like museums (must be kids friendly ones!!). I would be most glad to spend time at a onsen to have a relaxing dipping time (while Papajojo babysits Jojo in the hotel room... heehee...)! :>>

Now have to start packing for the trip...

  • Precious Friendships Warm Our Heart!

Thank you so much, dear Yulan, crazymommy and Nancy, for your well wishes!! I'm very much blessed by our precious friendships indeed!! Thank you, Ellie, for your well wishes!! I'm blessed to have a wonderful sis-in-law like you!! :>>

    ===============================================================

Papajojo used to live in Tokyo, Japan when he was young. He studied in the St. Mary's International School for about 5 years (from 7 years old to 12 years old, then he came to Singapore to study and live till now) and made many good friends there. It's a pity that he hadn't been able to keep in touch with most of his friends after he left the school. Nonetheless, he remembered every one of them with fond memories.

A few days ago, he finally tracked down and joined the alumnus association of the St. Mary's International School via internet registration. Since then, he managed to start correspondence with one of his old classmates. Papajojo was very much delighted and overjoyed when his old friend replied to his email!! He was very glad and amazed that his friend still remembered him despite them not keeping in touch for the past 28 years (yes, he's THAT old.. hee hee...). Thank God for enabling Papajojo and his friend to start contact again through the wonders of internet. We're looking forward to meeting his friend (and others who might start contacting Papajojo soon) when we visit Japan again. :>>

It's been raining every day in Singapore for the past weeks and the temperature's been cooler than usual. The thought of us being blessed by friendships, with friends who are living both near and far, keep our hearts warm. May all our friendships, young and old, and kinships, continue to bloom just like the lovely roses above! :>> :>>

  • I'm 33!

Today's my birthday! Yippy! Thank God for blessing me with another good year full of love, happiness, peace and harmony within my family and country. I'm grateful for the love and good health of my love ones (family and friends) too as I'm blessed by their companionship. Only thing missing now is my twin sister's presence who's far away in a foreign land. I can never ever get used to spending our birthday by myself even though this is already our 6th birthday not celebrating together. But I'm thankful that we got to do so last year. Here's dedicated to my dear sister. Happy birthday, Hao Mei Mei!! :b

    =========================================

You're more than just my sister,
    you're my best friend too,
and I just wanted you to know
how much I think of you.

    For you are very special
and I'd be lost it's true,
if I didn't have you in my life
    helping me get through.

Thinking of the happy times we shared
    when we were small,
    always brightens up my day
in the nicest way of all.

    All our childhood quarrels
    now seems so far away,
    and I remember with affection
    our endless days of play.

We've laughed and cried and had such fun
and in my heart I know,
I'll keep those happy memories wherever I may go.

    You are a unique sister
    a really special soul,
and in my life you've always
    played a very special role.

I know you'll always be there
    at any time of day,
    to listen and to understand
    in your own special way.

You have always been a touchstone for me,
    reminding me of what's important
and who I really want to be.

I wonder if you really know
    just how loved you are,
because for all who know you
    you are a shining star.

    Although I rarely say this
    at least not out loud,
the fact that you're my sister
    makes me really proud.

    The future is something
    that we've yet to explore,
but with the two of us I'm sure
there'll be some fun in store.

It means so much to me
that I have a special friend,
who is also part of my family
    from beginning to end.
